Offer & bidding terms

1. Your offer is binding

When you place an offer you are committing to buy the item at that amount if you win. Offers cannot be retracted once submitted. You may raise your offer at any time before the round closes; you can never lower it.

You must have an account to place an offer. Every offer is tied to your account, email, and phone number so we can confirm the result with you.

2. Winning and payment

When the countdown reaches zero, the highest standing offer wins. We notify the winner by email and text with the amount owed and pickup details. Payment is due before or at collection, as stated in your winning notice.

3. Two-day pickup window

Winners must pick up (or accept delivery of) their item within 2 days of the winning notice. Pickup is in North Bay; local delivery may be available on eligible items.

4. Extending a hold — 50% deposit

Need more time? We can hold the item beyond the 2-day window only with a 50% deposit of the winning amount.

• The deposit is applied to the purchase price when you collect.
• If the item is never collected and no new arrangement is made, the deposit is forfeited and the item may be relisted.
• Hold lengths are agreed case by case and confirmed in writing.

5. No-shows

Uncollected items with no deposit and no contact are released after the 2-day window and may be relisted or offered to the next highest offer. Repeated no-shows may lose access to offer events.

6. Soft close (anti-sniping)

If an offer is placed in the final 2 minutes of a round, the closing time is pushed out by 2 minutes. This repeats for as long as offers keep arriving, so the last-second bid never wins by timing alone. The countdown on the listing always shows the current closing time.

7. Buy Now threshold

Many live items have a Buy Now price that lets you secure the item immediately. To keep the offer round fair, the Buy Now option is removed once live offers reach 80% of the Buy Now price. After that point, the item can only be won through the highest offer when the round closes.

8. Your phone number

We require a phone number to place an offer so we can text you winning and pickup details. It is not used for promotions or marketing and is not sold or shared. You can unlink your number at any time from your account page — you will simply be asked for it again the next time you place an offer.

9. Condition and general terms

Items are pre-owned or overstock unless stated otherwise and are sold as described in the listing, including any grade and condition notes. Our general Terms of Service, warranty policy, and privacy policy also apply to offer events.
